Nearly a thousand asylum seekers and people in a variety of circumstances are detained at the El Paso Immigration Detention Center waiting to have their situations reviewed by an immigration judge.
YLM pastors and staff have security clearance and permission to distribute Bibles and lead detainees in worship and prayer on Thursdays and Saturdays every week for those who wish to attend (which are many!)
Help us share the Gospel and provide Bibles, songbooks, and devotion books. The need is great and families can look to God, find redemption and hope in Christ, and grow in their faith and walk with the Lord.
When people leave the detention center (to their home country or to reside in the U.S.) they are able to take the Bibles and other materials with them.
