It isn't often we get to hear the stories of survival and how the food and other help given at YLM played a part in giving hope and help when life knocks them down. The mother who shared her story with me years after her emergency situation was immensely grateful. Every family I see receive groceries or a hot meal pulls my memory back to that mom and her tears of gratitude and relief.
